LRCE Teach! applicants are required to pass the PRAXIS I exams and PRAXIS II content specialty exam before participating in the LRCE Teach! program. The PRAXIS Series™ assessments are educational exams Louisiana uses as part of its teacher licensure and certification process. However, applicants with a Master’s Degree, ACT composite score of 22 or higher, or SAT combined score of 1030 or higher, are exempt from taking the PRAXIS I exams, but must provide proof of exemption to be eligible.

To register for the PRAXIS tests, visit www.ets.org/praxis . You may also view a video explaining the PRAXIS process.
