Overview

Since 2013, LRCE’s Reach for Success summer program has provided a unique enrichment opportunity for students interested in improving their skills in all academic areas.  Activities include math games, science labs, project-based learning, and fun weekly field trips and activities.

Who?

The RFS program is designed for students who will enter grades Pre-K (4yr) to 12th Grade in August 2017. Instruction is provided by highly-qualified, highly-effective teachers who have earned their certification through LRCE’s Teach! alternative certification program. Students enjoy the additional support of student teachers who are current participants in LRCE’s teacher certification program.

What?

Mathematics, science, social studies, and Reading/Language Arts curricula differs for students according to their age and grade level and correlates to field trips attended every Thursday during the program.  The curriculum is also designed to accommodate students with mild-to-moderate learning disabilities.

When?

June 5 – June 30, 2017

Monday through Thursday

8:00 am – 1:00 pm

Breakfast and lunch are provided each day.
